Adobe CQ5 combines web content management, digital asset management, and social collaboration, allowing large companies to manage incredible amounts of information, multiple internal and external websites, a myriad of media assets, and detailed workflow.
Essential functions of a senior practitioner:
A senior practitioner is expected to contribute to the firm's growth and development in a variety of ways, including:
- Engagement Management
- Client Management
- Business Development
- Practice Development & Eminence
- People Development
Digital Content Practice
Our client offers services that enable solutions using digital technologies, including the Web, Mobile, Social Networking, Digital Strategy, Digital Content and Digital ERP. The Digital Content team delivers and deploys strategy, design, and implementation of web content management, digital asset management, and other technology solutions in the digital content space.
Senior practitioners in Digital Content (Adobe CQ) practice are required to have:
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant technology consulting or industry experience
- Minimum of 4 years of experience leading Adobe CQ technical design and implementation projects
- Minimum of 4 years of experience leading large sized teams and technology engagements, including client and consulting staff
- Minimum of 4 large full lifecycle implementations
- Willingness to travel 80 – 100% of the time
In addition, successful senior practitioners will also have the following preferred background:
- Strong working knowledge of one or more of the following: Adobe CQ, SDL Tridion, Autonomy (Interwoven) TeamSite/LiveSite, Open Text Web Experience Management, Oracle WebCenter/FatWire, SiteCore, Documentum, Filenet or other similar Digital Content platforms.
- Java, J2EE, or .Net development in Web-centric applications
- JSP and/or ASP.Net development experience
- Working knowledge of Apache Sling and Java Content Repository (JCR)
- HTML, JavaScript, and CSS development, preferably with HTML5/CSS3 exposure
- Design and implementation of Object and Component-oriented solutions
- Working knowledge of common software design patterns
- Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (SCRUM, RUP, other)
- Strong business process knowledge
- Application Integration and Middleware (SOA, ESB, Web Services, REST, Apache Sling, WCF)
- Experience with full lifecycle application testing (functional, regression, performance, integration, etc.)
- Ability to engage and manage senior-level client relationships
- Strong oral and written communication skills, facilitation, documentation, and presentation skills (MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, etc.)
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
- Willingness to mentor junior staff.
- A Bachelor’s Degree
- An advanced degree in the area of specialization
