Advanced Medical Billing Specialist - Medloop

Medloop, a large multi-specialty medical billing company servicing many clients across the US mostly in NY/NJ is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Advanced Medical Billing Specialist.  The Advanced Billing Specialist will be responsible for multiple accounts with various specialties.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serve as a liaison between patient, insurer, and practice
• Provide customer support to customers with disputes or inquiries concerning invoices or billing process
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with a customer service focus
• Create reports for customers
• Processing appeals
• Analyze, research and resolve denials
• Investigate and resolve insurance recoupments
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Key Skills/Experience

• 5+ years Medical Billing experience required with Physician Billing
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Understanding of collection practices and laws
• Detail oriented and organized
• Ability to act with discretion, tact, and professionalism in all situations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software
• Ability to read EOB’s and understand claim denials

Job Type: Full-time (In the office - Not Remote)
