Advanced Practice Clinician in Augusta, GA - TeamHealth

TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a PRN nurse practitioner (NP) or physician assistant (PA) to join our highly skilled hospital medicine team at Doctors Hospital of Augusta in Augusta, Georgia! The provider hired for this role will work a flexible schedule with no minimum hour commitment. Provider's interested in this role must be available for night shifts (6p-6a). 
 
Doctors Hospital of Augusta:

• Doctors Hospital of Augusta is a 350-bed full service hospital
• Level II trauma center
• Certified Primary Stroke Center and Accredited Chest Pain Center
• EMR: Meditech

 
Position Opportunities:

• Flexible scheduling option- work as much or as little as you'd like
• Night shift availability is required. 12 hour shifts, 6p-6a
• No solo provider coverage is required. The provider hired for this role will work alongside a hospitalist physician
• The ER team runs all codes including rapid response
• Closed ICU: 20 beds
• Inpatient background is preferred, but new graduates are also welcome to apply
• Typical nocturnist responsibilities: submitting orders (pain management), consults for new admissions, and provide cross coverage for calls
• Average admissions on night shift is between 6-8
