About the Job
Adecco Healthcare is searching for an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to become part of our client's Neurosurgery team in Ocala, FL - 34471. This is a direct-hire, full-time, and permanent opportunity.
Pay
$130,000-$160,000+ (depending on experience)
Shift
- Monday-Friday: 8am-5pm
- 1 weekend out of the month
Job Summary
The APRN role involves providing medical care under physician supervision at including conducting patient exams, developing treatment plans, and assisting in surgeries. Responsibilities include pre- and post-operative care, managing patient health records, ordering diagnostic tests, and performing minor procedures. The role also supports smooth clinic and operating room workflows, performs hospital rounds, and assists in emergency care. Additionally, the position emphasizes communication, teamwork, and adherence to the organization's core values, while ensuring compliance with safety, privacy, and professional standards. Qualifications - Education & Experience
Required:
- FL APRN license (clear and active)
- Master's Degree in Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner studies
- Be able to travel x1/week to Lady Lakes, FL office
- AHA Certification
- BLS Certification
Preferred:
- DEA license (will need to obtain if hired).
- Epic EHR experience (training will be provided).
- 2 years of experience in Neurosurgery or related specialty in Surgery. If no Neurosurgery experience, training will be provided.
- 2 years of surgical assist in the OR or related experience.
- Critical Care or Neurosurgery experience.
