Cardiac Cath APP Responsibilities:

• Provides and manages continuous, medical care service to patients under direct consultation with the Medical Director of Cardiac Cath Lab, and in collaboration with the private medical attending as indicated
• Collaborates with Nursing staff and interdisciplinary team in order to meet all patient care needs
• Must have current cardiology experience with emphasis on pre and post procedural care and maintain current collaborative practice agreement with the Medical Director of the Cath Lab

Cardiac Cath APP Qualifications:

• NYS Certified NP (Nurse Practitioner) or NYS Certified PA (Physician Assistant)
• Trained in adult medicine, with current experience in cardiology, particularly Cardiac Interventional and Electrophysiology preferred
• ACLS & BLS certified
• Experience in patient case management required; hospital experience preferred  

Cardiac Cath APP Requirements: 

• Moderate physical activity; requires handling of average-weight objects up to 20 pounds or standing/walking for more than four (4) hours per day

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
