Job Description
The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to be part of our project team supporting the US Navy! The Project Manager duties include, but are not limited to, managing projects associated with the Radioactive Materials Laboratory (RML) Service Life Extension (SLE) to deliver post irradiated exam test capabilities for NNL through 2055. This includes projects that will improve the RML maintenance, increase testing capability and capacity, mitigate legacy liabilities, and improve operational efficiency. Duties also include support of non-SLE maintenance and emergent projects required to meet testing objectives.
The Project Manager will also be responsible for managing projects or programs with multiple integrated projects including defining, planning, and ensuring execution of all tasks necessary to meet project objectives. Specific responsibilities include creating and maintaining the project team infrastructure, obtaining necessary resources to staff and support the project, defining project scope and work breakdown structure, developing cost estimates and resource loaded schedules, evaluating change requests and approving or rejecting as appropriate, managing overall costs versus budget, managing subcontracted relationships, identifying and mitigating project risks, interfacing with and integrating the efforts of stakeholders, support personnel and line management to ensure project objectives are achieved.

- Demonstrated ability to produce and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Demonstrated ability to produce a Project Management Plan, execute projects, and use other project management tools and principles.
- Understanding of Environmental, Safety, and Health requirements for inclusion into projects.
- Understanding of Radiological requirements for inclusion into projects.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks at a time.

Pay Range
Salary information provided is a general guide line only. Annual salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations
