Advanced Shipping & Receiving Clerk - Spiratex

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team at our facility located in Monroe, MI, 48162. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in shipping and receiving, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move materials and products
• Load and unload delivery trucks.
• Verify weights & counts of incoming material
• Properly complete export documents, customer invoice and NAFTA certifications
• Accurately complete paperwork for shipments and receipts
• Utilize basic computer skills to track shipments and update inventory
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
• Hold a valid driver's license to assist with local deliveries
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Package products according to company standards

Qualifications

• Experience working in a manufacturing shipping environment
• Forklift licensed with proficiency in operating forklifts
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the job
• Previous packaging experience is preferred
• Strong shop math skills
