CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

As the Test Engineer, you'll participate in the planning of technical approaches, resources, schedules, budgets and equipment required for the testing and evaluating of new launcher and propulsion systems for submarine platforms. Utilizing your expert knowledge and understanding of test engineering concepts and principles, you'll prepare test and diagnostic programs, coordinate across a multi-disciplinary engineering team, and complete specifications and procedures throughout the engineering development life cycle.
What you'll experience:
Target salary range: USD $100,693.80/Yr. - USD $111,707.20/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Proficient knowledge and experience testing hardware onboard submarine platforms
- Openly proposes ideas that enhance productivity and efficiency, solicits input, and optimizes solutions
- Extensive knowledge of submarine systems and operations
- Exceptional communication skills with experience writing test plans and procedures
- Successful track record of executing test conduct for complex electro-mechanical systems
- Experience collaborating with Navy customers
- Ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
