Salary and rank based on experience and qualifications: $48,000 - $51,000
Degree Required: Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university
Required Qualifications:
- Two to three years of experience in a high-level administrative position
- Prior experience with managing budgets
- Knowledge of fundraising or accounting principles
- Ability to prioritize tasks, schedules, and objectives
- Must be highly customer service and detail-oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience managing department budgets to include tracking, reconciling, and report-generating
- Demonstrated experience working with non-profit boards and volunteers
- Experience with CRM/donor software programs
- Experience with LC State policies, procedures, and databases
Responsibilities:
Summary/Objective of Position
Under the direction of the director of college advancement, the advancement services manager will manage gift processing functions within the College Advancement Office; manage advancement CRM database; provide administrative support to the LC State Foundation and the LC State Alumni Association; provide financial technician support to College Advancement; track annual scholarships, endowments, and other development funds; provide programmatic support with fundraising and alumni events.

Duties and Responsibilities
1. CRM Database Management:
a. Enter and process daily gifts within the CRM database
b. Create, maintain, and manipulate data to produce donor reports
c. Responsible for regular address verification process
d. Direct liaison with other units on campus to manage mailing and alumni lists
2. Gift Processing and Financial Technician Oversight:
a. Manage tracking of gifts to include gift accounting and gift acknowledgment
b. Manage the tracking, reconciliation, and report generating of Foundation funds to include scholarships, payroll contributions, gift-in-kind and department funds, in compliance with auditing standards
c. Manage the timely entry of all gifts and pledges into CRM database
d. Responsible for running weekly gift reports and thank you letters
e. Produce all financials and donor listing for the Annual Report
3. Scholarship and Scholarship Portal Management:
a. Create annual endowment and scholarship reports for donors
b. Coordinate with Financial Aid and Budget Offices to ensure scholarship monies are applied correctly
c. Coordinate and plan the annual scholarship luncheon, under the direction of the Assistant Director of Development
4. Office Management:
a. Provide administrative support for the Office of College Advancement, including travel authorization, p-card reconciliation, and other financial authorization processes
b. Reconcile all department budgets and maintain accurate financial records
c. Manage facilities and workspace for the College Advancement Office
5. LC State Foundation/Alumni Association:
a. Provide support for Foundation and Alumni Association boards, including taking minutes at Foundation executive and full board meetings
b. Provide program support for various Foundation/Alumni Association events
Other duties as assigned by the Director of College Advancement. Additional duties also include direct and indirect activities to support recruitment and retention of students.
