Advertising Operations Specialist
Location: Remote
Duration: 3 months, potential to extend
Pay: up to $43/hr, DOE
Planet Interactive is looking for an Advertising Operations Specialist to join our well known Fortune 500 client on a 3 month contract. This role will be 40 hours per week and will be fully remote.
The main function of an advertising operations specialist is to own the delivery of advertising campaigns on different platforms. The typical specialist will have a good understanding of the technology that surrounds online advertising.

Responsibilities
- Provide sales team with supporting advertisement data required to be successful
- Ownership of campaign set up, optimizing for correct marketing targets.
- Ensure smooth campaign delivery
- Troubleshoot campaign issues by working with stakeholders to ensure all campaigns are delivered correctly
- Manage and track mobile app related campaigns.
- Oversee media tracking set up and implementation.
- QA ads to ensure they meet proper site specs and ad requirements.
- Own immersion operational execution in coordination with internal teams supporting workflows such as, email outreach, scheduling, and performance tracking across multiple projects.
- Monitor and troubleshoot progress and performance of immersions to ensure overall program quality and consistency
- Triage incoming requests, utilizing technology, superior customer service and judgment - Responding within a timely manner and working 1:1 in real time
- Gather learnings and insights for: 1) internal teams to help Facebook further develop and evolve our products, and 2) our advertising partners to help them achieve their marketing objectives
- Actively participate, collaborate, and add value to weekly training and operational meetings - quickly implement new practices
- Identify tool and process efficiency gains with an analytical perspective
Skills
2+ years of experience within the advertising (preferably Meta) ecosystem and a thorough understanding of major success metrics
- 2+ years experience managing client - facing communication concerning Facebook Ads Manager/ campaign set-up per internal direction
- Experience with Salesforce, including SFMC Email Studio is critical for participant outreach.
- Detail-oriented, computer literate and tech savvy with proficiency in working with multiple desktop applications and ability to quickly learn in-house software.
- Experience in working on research studies (inbound feedback, A/B tests, surveys, interviews)
- Ability to remain cool under pressure and effectively multi-task maintaining an exceptional level of quality
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work in a high-performance team environment
- Previous tech experience a plus
- Proficiency in JavaScript and other HTML coding as relates to ad serving
- Knowledge of digital advertising landscape.
- Familiarity with different online advertising pricing structures.
- Ability to manage projects autonomously.
- Proficiency in ad server targeting methods
Education
- Bachelor's Degree, preferred.
