About the Opportunity

The Treasury Services Department has an immediate opening for an Advisor-IS, reporting to the Governance, Risk, & Compliance Manager.

What You Will Do:

• Consult with clients to evaluate, recommend, design, and implement information security solutions and process improvements.
• Anticipate client needs and identify security requirements by establishing personal rapport with clients and internal and external resources.
• Develop and demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of supported client areas.
• Advise clients and leaders on best practices and how to implement process improvements that will address their needs; recommend alternative solutions and perform gap analysis to identify unaddressed needs.
• Lead strategic guidance initiatives.
• Be a key contributor in process improvement and long-term information security solution discussions and present outcomes to senior and division management.
• Direct initiatives and oversee development and integration of new processes; communicate changes to impacted clients, resources, and senior management.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Some travel, including overnight stays, may be necessary (up to 25%).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or minimum of 4 years equivalent experience; Master's Degree preferred.
• CISA (Certified Information Security Auditor), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), or other security related certifications preferred.
• Agile/Scrum/ITIL experience preferred.
• Experience working in cloud environments preferred.
• Ability to tailor communications to their appropriate audience and present information in a credible, confident, and influential manner. Communicates in a concise, direct and purposeful way

• The hiring range for Advisor-IS-Experienced is $115,600 – $144,500 annually.
• The hiring range for Advisor-IS-Senior is $133,000 – $166,300 annually.
• The hiring range for Advisor-IS-Advanced is $147,000– $183,800 annually.
• For candidates outside Richmond, VA, listed hiring and salary ranges may be adjusted based on your geographic location.
• Salary offered will be based on the job responsibilities and the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience as defined in the job qualifications.
• The Fifth District provides a hybrid work environment.  This position is required to be onsite on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week.
