Hours: Full Time (40 hours per week)/Exempt
Salary: $80,000 - $85,000/Year DOE+ 5% pay differential for bilingual Spanish/English fluency

The primary responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:
- Provide crisis intervention, crisis counseling, advocacy and accompaniment.
- Develop systems to improve workflow and documentation of services.
- Supervise and coordinate staff advocates
- Train and onboard new staff advocates.
- Provide daily support and weekly team meetings for case consultations and mentorship.
- Assign staff advocates to work with youth who are at risk of CSE and need ongoing support.
- Schedule advocates for accompaniments.
- Maintain a caseload of youth who are CSE.
- Attend Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) meetings for CSEC
- Collaborate with Social Workers to complete RTS action items resulting from MDT meetings.
- Coordinate with Child and Family Services (CFS) and other service providers to ensure CSEC contract objectives are met.
- Coordinate PREA communications, including:
- Maintain PREA follow-up list and ensure proper documentation.
- Assign and support staff for follow ups.
- Ensure timely reporting to San Mateo County PREA Coordinators.
- Complete monthly reports including narrative description of the program activities, objectives and goals.
- Answer crisis line calls and meet with walk-in clients during business hours, as needed.
- Maintain a positive, professional working relationship with volunteers, clients, the general public, agency staff and community partners at all times.
- Perform administrative and operational tasks such as copying, stocking informational packets, and sharing office coverage (e.g. answering phones).
- Provide backup for RTS’ 24/7 crisis line, including overnights.
- Adhere to all RTS personnel policies and protocols.
- Perform other agency responsibilities as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent career experience required.
- Native level of fluency in Spanish required.
- 2-4 years of experience providing crisis intervention.
- Passion for working with and empowering youth.
- Strong, dynamic public speaking and training skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to listen, clarify, validate, and respectfully challenge.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent writing skills.
- A creative thinker who is able to translate RTS’ mission, vision, and values to a wide array of audiences.
- Experience in leading and facilitating trainings.
- Experience in a management role desired, preferred.
- Self-motivated and a team player; ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Must bring an eager and open-minded attitude, including the ability to problem solve as needed.
- Must be comfortable working in a small team environment.
- Interest in and commitment to developing or expanding trauma-focused counseling and advocacy skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekend and evening hours to finish projects on time.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT), Google Suite and other commonly used applications.
- Valid California driver’s license, insurance, and reliable access to transportation.
- Must have the ability to establish rapport with diverse groups and individuals.
- Familiarity with San Mateo County and community resources.
