Responsibilities
- Work as part of a passionate, agile development team developing customer driven features on top of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) content management system and AEM Mobile products
- Design, develop and deliver new features within short development cycles, maintaining high-quality in all features throughout development
- Create and configure AEM templates and components
- Write and maintain unit tests for every feature (where possible)
- Complete functional testing and fix problems before delivering them for final testing
- Work closely with quality engineers to identify test cases and devise efficient, scalable testing processes
- Work cooperatively and effectively with product management, experience designers (XD) and AEM engineering team to create features that satisfy customer needs with simplicity and robustness
- Collaborate with and mentor other developers and help with their assignments to quickly and efficiently achieve the team's goals
- Identify, propose and implement process improvements to continuously increase the team's productivity and efficiency
- Follow, maintain and evolve the software architecture for current and future needs
- Stay current on technical topics in the rapidly changing field of tablets and mobile devices
- Mentor other team members in areas of technology or product expertise, and participate in peer code reviews
- Where appropriate, work with end users directly, to transform ideas and workflows into product technology
- Maintain Adobe's culture of innovation and ensure that the work completed is true to Adobe's brand of technology and customer excellence
Requirements
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum of 5+ years experience in web development in large scale environments targeting mobile and leveraging responsive design
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) content management system
- Experience creating and configuring AEM templates and components
- Experience with mobile native app development for Ios and Android,
- Development expertise in the core pillars of web technologies – HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, json, with preference given to candidates with additional backgrounds leveraging Java, servlet and/or JSP, MySQL, REST api implementation
- Experience with one or more JavaScript frameworks (Angular.js, jQuery, Node, etc.) and/or UI Frameworks (jQueryUI, KendoUI, etc.)
- Experience working in an Agile based development environment
- Experience with responsive design concepts across desktop and mobile
- Experience working with remote colleagues in multiple time zones and have a flexible working schedule to accommodate meetings
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong attention to detail with outspoken personality
- Experience with Adobe Digital Publishing Suite product an asset
