About Us: At Integrated Therapy, we are committed to supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families by providing compassionate, in-home care. We are looking for dedicated paraprofessionals to join our team and assist in implementing care plans that promote the development of essential skills in children.
Position Overview: As a Paraprofessional, you will work directly with children to support their educational and developmental goals under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). You will play a crucial role in helping children with ASD build communication, social, and adaptive skills through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and other strategies.
Responsibilities:
Assist in implementing behavior intervention plans under the direction of the BCBA and RBT.
Provide one-on-one support to children during therapy sessions.
Help with daily tasks, such as communication, social interaction, and life skills development.
Record progress data and report to the supervising RBT or BCBA.
Collaborate with the therapy team and communicate with parents about the child’s progress.
Support children in achieving their individualized educational and developmental goals.
Participate in training to ensure best practices in working with children with ASD.
Qualifications:
Experience working with children, preferably those with ASD or special needs.
Strong communication, patience, and organizational skills.
Ability to follow instructions and implement intervention plans effectively.
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in special education, psychology, or related fields is a plus.
Ability to pass a background check.
Reliable transportation for in-home services.
