Hacienda CDC, a trusted community development corporation that strengthens individuals and families through affordable housing, holistic services, and advocacy, is searching for a dedicated After-School Program Coordinator to put their passion for community building to good use as they work to empower youth and families.

Your primary tasks will include actively recruiting youth into programming, conducting after-school and summer programming, coordinating meetings and workshops, managing relationships with community stakeholders, and more.

This position's primary responsibilities include:
- Recruiting youth living at Hacienda housing sites and neighboring communities into programming.
- Holding after-school and summer programming.
- Leading monthly in-person parent meetings and skill-building classes.
- Creating and managing partner relationships to develop events, activities, and on-site classes.
- Connecting youth caregivers to resources to support them in gaining a full understanding of the U.S. school system.
- Making resource connections for youth caregivers and collaborating across programs and cross-departmentally.
- Administering yearly program evaluation assessments and actively participating in program planning.
- Utilizing databases and forms to submit data in a timely manner in order to meet contract compliance.
- Adhering to state mandatory reporting requirements
Our ideal candidate must have:
- A minimum of three years experience in community organizing social services, education or similar fields (paid or volunteer)
- At least a high school diploma or GED
- The ability to read, write, or speak Spanish.
- Highly skilled at listening, developing rapport, and working cooperatively, creatively, and patiently with team members and the program manager.
- The ability to remain self-motivated and energetic, think creatively, and be resourceful.
- A joy for working with diverse populations and a solid commitment to DEIA concepts.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to take initiative, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- The ability to remain flexible and adaptable to change.
- A willingness to work a flexible schedule, including afternoon/evening work and on weekends at least once per month.
It would be great if you also have:
- Some college coursework or an associate or bachelor’s degree in community organizing, social work, education, or similar fields.
- Experience with trauma-informed care, popular education, and community outreach methods that support youth engagement.
- Knowledge of local resources in order to support the unique needs of our communities.

Hacienda CDC was formed in 1992 to provide necessary housing and supportive services in Cully, a low-income, predominantly Latinx community. PAY:
The salary and wage range Hacienda advertises for the position means that the starting pay offered to the candidate will fall within the range posted. We recognize that each candidate brings with them a unique combination of experiences, education, skills, and abilities; therefore, the offer will be tailored to the individual.
A bilingual Spanish premium of up to 3% is available after 90 days upon successful completion of a language assessment. (According to policy, even if language is not required or preferred, a person can get a 1% increase).
