About the Job
Role, Responsibilities, and Essential Duties
Will assist in monitoring the dismissal of children
Will assist in clerical work (filing, shredding, etc.)
Assist in creation of Monthly Calendars
Answer and direct phone calls
Write and distribute messages, letters and faxes
Sign for packages
Provide general support to visitors
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check (Fingerprinting), a Child Abuse and Maltreatment Check (SCR), a Staff Exclusion List Check (SEL)
DOI Fingerprinted/ PETS a plus
Current CPR/First Aid Training a plus
Current DOE & DOH mandated trainings a plus
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Ability to work independently and as a team
Ability to take initiative in work assignments
Must be highly organized
Must have the ability to prioritize work load
Must be Creative
Must be Patient
Must have a good sense of humor and enjoy working with children
Must be able to use tablet and online applications
Must be able to communicate effectively
Must have basic technology skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and bend up to 50lbs
Work Environment
Receptionist will work primarily at the Front Desk.
