Afternoon & Weekend Nanny / Family Assistant

Seeking a full time Nanny/Family Assistant for a busy family in Weston, MA, with four active children (ages 13, 11, 9, and 5) and two full-time working parents. The Nanny/Family Assistant will be providing afterschool and weekend support, including driving the children to activities, light housekeeping, and other family assistance tasks. The family is looking for someone who can commit long-term to helping keep their household running smoothly.

Position Details

• Compensation: $30 - $35 per hour
• Start Date: December 1, 2024
• Hours: ~35 hours per week (with flexibility)

• Monday to Friday: 2:30 PM - 7:30 PM (with potential for an 8:00 PM end time)

• Thursday: Extended hours for date night, until 10:00 PM

• Saturday & Sunday: Approximately 4 hours each day, flexible timing for light housekeeping or childcare

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and reliable transportation for the children to and from various activities (family vehicle provided)
• Assist with evening routines, including meal prep, tidying common areas, and overseeing the children's activities
• Helping with dinner, laundry, and household organization
• Offer flexible weekend hours for additional family support, light housekeeping, or occasional childcare

• Assist with pet care for a friendly family dog

Requirements

• Experience: Prior childcare experience with multiple children and/or family assistance
• Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license required; must be a safe and responsible driver
• Transportation: Family vehicle (Suburban) provided for transporting the children
• Availability: Must be available for two non-consecutive weeks to accompany the family to Vermont in the summer
• Other Qualities: Friendly, flexible, and collaborative, with a willingness to work around pets
