Youth Soccer Coach - Do you love playing and teaching little ones? Then this is the opportunity for you to make a positive impact on the kids in our community through imaginative learning and physical activity.
Our ideal candidate has prior experience working with children (as a sports coach, teacher, camper or leader), and enjoys working with children. This position is excellent for someone who has an interest in pursuing early childhood education, or child development.
No Soccer Experience is need it! You will be given the tools to access prewritten lesson plans and videos for you to follow so you can focus on what is most important the joy of developing children’s social skills and teaching children the fundamentals, all while having fun.
Our coaches...
- can work up to 10-20 hours a week and can earn very competitive pay ranging from earns $25 - $35 per session after completing on-field training.
- Our Coaches use individual attention to ensure every child has success.
- Our Coaches use a non-competitive approach to ensure classes are fun with a stress-free environment.
- Our Coaches use positive reinforcement to encourage children to do better and celebrate success.
- And finally, our coaches have a blast. They are open-minded and know that coaching is a continuous journey. All Coaches are open to feedback and strive to be better by attending regular training and following the Super Soccer Stars Coaching Manual.

About the Company: Youth Athletes United was created to provide the best programming and service in the market for youth sports, starting with their first sports experience. Our goal is to provide an experience where every child is an athlete and capable of being something special. Requirements
Schedule:
The ideal candidate must be able to work weekday afternoons (2pm -5:30pm) while it will also have the option to pick up some weekday mornings (9:30-11:30am). Additionally we'll have some availability to add some weekday morning or Saturdays morning as needed for camps, soccer club partnerships, etc.
Location:
Classes are held across schools, pre-schools, parks, and recreational centers across South and NW Austin, Beecave and surrounding areas. Depending on the location of the coach's primary residence they may be required to travel up to 25-35 min to get to a class location with additional compensation.
Required soft skills and professional skills:
- Being physically active, punctual, and organized is part of life
- Ability to work with kids ranging from 3-8 years old independently
- Demonstrates a history of integrity, doing what is right even when nobody is looking
