Title: Agency Support Specialist
You'll Report To: Client Services & Agency Support Supervisor
What You'll Do:
The Agency Support Specialist will work directly with the agent to create and make changes to the agency profiles. He/she will provide excellent customer service to the agent over the phone and via email.
What You’ll Do:You'll be Responsible for:
- Responding to inquiries and questions from agents via email and phone.
- Providing agents accurate information.
- Researching and resolving issues.
- Answering calls professionally and expediently.
- Providing administrative, general office and clerical services as required.
- Participating in projects/assignments that support the company.
- Maintaining the superior level of customer service.
- Processing all non-renewals accurately and efficiently.
- Maintaining timeliness and compliance when dealing with an Agent of Record.
- Participating in departmental audits and maintain proper documentation.
What You'll Need to be a Top Candidate:
Education: Associate’s Degree preferred.
Experience: Two (2) years of personal lines insurance experience, or combination of education and experience. Prior agency management or agency services experience at an insurance carrier preferred.
Licensure: None required.
Knowledge:
- Demonstrated skills in the use of computer software applications.
- Specific knowledge in a particular line of business and / or additional education may be required by the hiring business unit.
- Familiarity with various types of insurance policies preferred.
Skills:
- Salesforce experience preferred.
- Proven ability in customer service required.
- Ability to communicate interpersonally with individuals and groups via telephone and in writing.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of technical / professional / consumer clients.
- Ability to develop and maintain open and trusting working relationships with clients / agents in order to gather pertinent information.
- Ability to balance timeliness and accuracy.
- Ability to listen and communicate clearly while maintaining proper confidentiality.
- Strong decision-making and problem solving skills.
- Ability to innovate regarding methods and approaches to existing and future work processes.
- Ability to be resourceful in information gathering and assess information for the best possible decision.
Your Environment:
Schedule: 8:30am-5:30pm Monday-Friday #LI-OnSite
Working Conditions: Normal business office environment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for periods of time while constantly operating a computer and or other office productivity machinery such as a calculator or telephone. The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery or communicate with coworkers.
Travel: Minimum, as required.
