Responsibilities
Client Consultation: Conduct comprehensive insurance consultations with clients to assess their current coverage, identify gaps or risks, and recommend suitable insurance solutions.
Risk Assessment: Analyze clients' insurance needs and risk profiles by evaluating their assets, liabilities, and financial objectives to determine appropriate levels of coverage.
Insurance Planning: Develop customized insurance plans tailored to clients' individual circumstances, providing recommendations for property and casualty (P&C) and/or life and health (L&H) insurance products as needed.
Product Expertise: Stay abreast of the latest insurance products, industry trends, and regulatory changes to provide accurate and up-to-date information to clients.
Client Advocacy: Act as a dedicated advocate for clients, advocating on their behalf in claims situations and assisting them in navigating the insurance claims process when necessary.
Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with clients by delivering exceptional customer service, demonstrating integrity, and being responsive to their needs and concerns.
Educational Outreach: Conduct educational seminars, workshops, and presentations to help clients understand their insurance options, coverage benefits, and risk management strategies.
Cross-Referral: Collaborate with other professionals, such as financial advisors, attorneys, and real estate agents, to generate referrals and expand the client base.
Requirements
Proven experience in insurance sales, advisory, or related field, with a focus on providing personalized financial solutions and client-centric service.
Active insurance license in property and casualty (P&C) and/or life and health (L&H) insurance lines preferred, or willingness to obtain licensure.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Excellent communication skills, including active listening, empathy, and clear articulation of complex concepts.
Analytical mindset with the ability to assess risk, evaluate coverage options, and develop strategic insurance plans.
Detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
