Position Summary
The Agile Project Coordinator will provide assistance to Program Manager and cross-functional teams by administering and supporting Agile methodologies. This role involves facilitating communication between teams, tracking progress or scope shift, and assisting in the overall coordination of effective project management practices.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Facilitate Agile Ceremonies: Organize and facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
Project Tracking: Maintain project schedules, track progress, and ensure budget transparency.
Communication: Serve as a liaison between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication regarding project objectives and updates.
Documentation: Assist in the creation and maintenance of project documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and project plans.
Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and issues, facilitating discussions to develop solutions and mitigation strategies.
Support Team Development: Encourage continuous improvement and Agile best practices among team members, promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders to address requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in project coordination, preferably within an Agile environment.
- Agile / Project certifications (e.g., Scrum Master, PMP, etc) are a plus.
- Extremely strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written, verbal, communication and interpersonal skills with individuals at all levels or an organization.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana, etc).
- Familiarity with technical terminology is highly preferred.
Additional Details:
- Employment Type: 6 Month Contract-to-Hire Position
- Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)
- Start Date: Immediate
- Location: Memphis, TN
- Target Compensation: $60 to $65 per hour
- Employment Status: No form of Corp-to-Corp or Employment Sponsorship is being considered.
