AGV Maintenance
Skill Level: Intermediate -- Typically has Mechanical or 1-3 years of experience.
Position Purpose: Maintenance Tech is responsible for supporting the maintenance team, minor repairs and cleanup of equipment and work area. Technician will also be responsible for collecting and assisting with documentation of repair details, as directed by their Team Leader and or Maintenance Manager.

* Perform quick analysis and repair both mechanical and electrical issues on equipment.

* PM equipment, support project work, change wear parts.
* Capability to assist in the training of others on necessary skills to perform repairs.
* Skill level to operate equipment in "Teach" mode from the HMI or Teach Pendant without assistance.
* Technically skilled to facilitate the recovery of at least 50% of equipment from a technical fault without assistance.
* Technical ability to demonstrate sound mechanical knowledge.
* Prepare and set up equipment for production after repair.
* Under minimal directions, work directly from a work order.
* Perform scheduled PM's as assigned.
* Experience in the following:
* Intermediate mechanical theory
* Intermediate computer skills with use of Microsoft Office -- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Position Qualifications:
* Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred.
* SAP / CMMS maintenance system helpful.
* Ability to pass Maintenance based aptitude testing.
* Associates degree in Mechatronics / Industrial Mechanical or 1-3 years of work experience accepted.

* Required to talk and/or hear in an industrial setting (noise level is high). Frequently required to stand and walk on concrete surfaces from 4 -12 hours. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; lift; stoop, or crouch.
* Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and focus adjustment
* Work is performed in an industrial-manufacturing environment with occasional time spent working on a computer or at a desk.
AGV
Leadec is seeking an Automation Technician for projects involving AGVs, (Automated Guided Vehicles). Candidate should have a strong technical background with an emphasis on control systems. Training will be provided. AGV experience is preferred but not required. Will be working primarily with MiRs brand AGVs, but will have exposure to various brands.
Primary Responsibilities:
Maintain, troubleshoot and repair active problems with the AGV Systems as required to achieve customer production and required up-time.
Have the ability to diagnose controls problems and make required updates to the AGVs virtual pathing using programming methods and updating the internal operating logic in accordance with the manufactures published software updates.
Maintain, troubleshoot and repair AGV systems in the customers facility
Interpret controls drawings and software logic as required during maintenance and troubleshooting equipment.
Verifies proper machine operation after preventative maintenance procedures have been completed.
Verifies all peripheral equipment is in place, functional and safe to operate.
Work with team members daily on preventative maintenance activities.
Be willing to provide assistance to other team members as requested by the Maintenance Project Manager.
Share operational and troubleshooting knowledge of the AGV and other automated systems with other team members based on your experience and knowledge.
Verify that trained personnel have understood the operational and diagnostic training you have provided.
May interface directly with customer or customer technical personnel to identify and implement repair actions on non-working equipment.
Loads updated software and or patches as published by the equipment manufacturer and tests to insure equipment is functioning correctly.
Debugs manual and automatic sequence to determine root cause of problems in customer's equipment. Works closely with project management and customer to make sure machine operation meets the customer's requirements.
