The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality's (AHRQ) Patient-Centered Outcomes Research (PCOR) Clinical Decision Support (CDS) program aims to improve healthcare decision-making by translating patient-centered research findings into actionable insights within clinical workflows. AHRQ’s PCOR CDS initiative centers on the development, implementation, and dissemination of digital tools that help healthcare providers and patients make informed decisions tailored to individual patient needs, preferences, and clinical contexts.
Web Content Manager
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and improve the AHRQ CDS program website, enhancing SEO and updating the site’s structure, navigation, and user experience.
- Develop a strategic plan for improvements, including keyword phrase identification and content format updates, to optimize search engine ranking.
- Create new web pages for the program, including content for CDS grants, events, and funding opportunities.
- Ensure Section 508 compliance for all content, implementing necessary remediation for accessibility.
- Provide ongoing content updates, support, and troubleshooting as new projects are added to the site.
Digital Communications and Outreach Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Track and document completed and ongoing CDS activities, targeting emerging and established audiences.
- Develop a quarterly digital newsletter summarizing program highlights, research outcomes, and updates, with engaging graphics and content.
- Coordinate with AHRQ staff to ensure accurate representation of CDS activities, adjusting communications for maximum impact.
- Contribute to content on the program website that promotes broader awareness of AHRQ’s CDS initiatives.
LDAP User Management and Security Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Manage LUMS accounts, providing user support and updating documentation as necessary.
- Apply updates to LAM software, maintain all system interfaces, and coordinate with AHRQ Enclave for infrastructure adjustments.
- Ensure security and compliance of the LDAP system, supporting integration with applications and MFA implementations.
- Manage group memberships and access permissions in response to organizational needs.
IT Migration Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive technical migration plan, collaborating with AHRQ IT and security teams.
- Execute the migration plan, ensuring compliance with AHRQ security and privacy standards.
- Update and adjust the migration plan as necessary, documenting changes and ensuring alignment with organizational requirements.
- Provide regular updates and coordinate closely with relevant teams to mitigate risks and address technical challenges.
Multifactor Authentication (MFA) Implementation Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain phishing-resistant MFA solutions, ensuring secure access for both administrators and public users.
- Coordinate with AHRQ IT to align MFA practices with security policies and monitor system performance.
- Provide technical support for MFA-related issues, responding to user inquiries and troubleshooting access challenges.
- Document MFA configurations and security procedures, staying current with best practices in authentication and security compliance.
Requirements
Web Content Manager, AHRQ CDS Program Website
- Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years in web content management and SEO; experience with Section 508 compliance and content governance.
- Proficiency in web technologies (HTML, CSS, Drupal), SEO tools, and accessibility standards (WCAG, ADA). Experience with content management systems, website analytics, and cloud-hosted environments.
Digital Communications and Outreach Specialist
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Health Informatics, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in program analysis, research, or digital marketing. Experience in healthcare or government projects is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills; experience with digital newsletters and content tracking tools; proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and familiarity with audience tracking or website analytics tools.
LDAP Administrator and User Management Specialist
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years in LDAP administration, user management, or directory services in a government or healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in LDAP and LAM software, user account management, and familiarity with MFA and Zero Trust implementation. Knowledge of network security principles and system architecture.
IT Migration Specialist
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Certifications in cloud migration or cybersecurity preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in website or system migration, especially in a cloud environment. Experience in a regulated industry or federal agency environment is a plus.
- Strong technical project management skills; knowledge of cloud services (e.g., Acquia, AWS) and cybersecurity protocols; familiarity with ATO processes and change control procedures.
Multifactor Authentication (MFA) Implementation Specialist
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related field. Security certifications such as CISSO, CISSP, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in MFA implementation or security access management, particularly with Okta or login.gov.
- Proficiency in multifactor authentication protocols, access management systems, and Zero Trust frameworks. Experience in government security compliance (FISMA, NIST) and strong problem-solving skills.
