You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient AI architecture. You will also be responsible for leading the implementation and deployment of AI models and systems.Position will remain open until filled.ResponsibilitiesWhat makes you an ideal candidate?You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient AI architectureYour main responsibilities entail owning the implementation and deployment of AI models and systemsCollaborate with product managers, data scientists, software engineers, and other customers to understand business goals and determine AI requirementsDesign and develop AI architectures, frameworks, and algorithms that can support large-scale and sophisticated AI solutions using Retrieval augmented generation (RAG), Contextual AI, Prompt Engineering etc.Evaluate and select appropriate AI technologies, tools, and frameworks to achieve desired performance, accuracy, and scalabilityOwn the development and implementation of AI models, ensuring consistency to standard processes in machine learning and deep learningDevelop and maintain AI pipelines, incorporating data cleaning, pre-processing, feature engineering, model training, and validation processesOptimize AI models and systems for performance, scalability, and efficiencyConduct regular code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior members of the teamStay up to date with the latest advancements in AI technologies, frameworks, and algorithms, and find opportunities for their application in the organizationCollaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure smooth deployment and monitoring of AI models in production environmentsQualificationsExperience4-6 years experience as an Architect with a proven track record of implementing innovative solutions and delivering business values requiredBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.Proven experience (3+ years) working as an AI architect, data scientist, or related role.Strong knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing (NLP) techniques.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++, and familiarity with popular AI libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras).Experience in designing and implementing large-scale AI solutions, including data ingestion, storage, processing, and deployment.Solid understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and experience deploying AI models on these platforms.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into actionable components.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.Ability to stay updated with the latest advancements in AI technologies, frameworks, and platforms.Knowledge of ethical considerations and responsible AI practices is a plus.What We Offer: Generous benefits package available on day one to include: 401K matching, bonding leave for new parents (12 weeks, 100% paid), tuition assistance, training, GM employee auto discount, community service pay and nine company holidays.Our Culture: Our team members define and shape our culture — an environment that welcomes innovative ideas, fosters integrity, and creates a sense of community and belonging. At GM Financial, we strive for transparency in all aspects of our business, including pay equity. This is the GM Financial pay range for this role and job level. The exact salary and compensation will vary based on factors like knowledge, skills, experience, and education. This role is eligible to participate in a performance-based incentive plan.
