Bringing a growth mindset, this position will oversee the development, and implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) operations
The role will require a combination of insatiable curiosity, strategic vision, technical expertise, force-multiplying leadership, and customer obsession to help build an incredibly valuable product for our customers
This leader will understand the product strategy / roadmap and help translate those needs into end-to-end solutions (people, process, and technology)
A deep technical understanding of what it takes to connect, collect, and manage data across many connected devices is critical to this position. This position requires someone who is hands-on, self-starter, corporate explorer, fast learner, and customer champion
A progressive track record with proven ability to lead / manage change, collaborate effectively across functions, communicate with impact, and excel in an ambiguous / fast-paced environment is a must.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
• You will be responsible for designing and implementing AI/ML strategies into Supermicro’s Cloud Orchestrator product
• Team Leadership: Manage a team of AI developers and solution engineers, fostering collaboration, and providing guidance
• Innovation: Driving innovation in integrating end-to-end AI lifecycle & ML-Ops processes
This includes data acquisition, preparation, model development, deployment, and monitoring
• Research & Development: Keeping abreast of industry trends, best practices, researching new technologies, and implementing cutting-edge solutions
• Ensuring the quality, reliability, scalability, and security of the AI/ML solutions and platforms
• Foster a culture of learning, experimentation, and excellence within the AI/ML team and the organization
• Work with stakeholders that include Supermicro’s partners to identify business needs and requirements, proposing technical solutions, and leading the implementation of the chosen solutionsQualifications:• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• 10+ years of relevant work experience
• 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing AI/ML, ML-Ops systems in a commercial environment
• 5+ years of experience as a team lead and people manager
• Strong knowledge of AI/ML technologies, including deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, Java, React
• Strong knowledge of data processing and storage technologies such as Postgress, Spark, and NoSQL databases
• Proven experience with AI/ML frameworks and libraries: TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Keras, PySpark, …
• Significant experience with cloud computing platforms: Kubernetes, OpenStack, AWS, Azure, GCP
• Deep experience with devOps tools: Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform
• Proven experience with MLOps tools: Kubeflow, MLflow, TensorFlow Serving, TorchServe…
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and solve complex technical problems
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across the organization
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead a team of technical professionalsSalary Range$154,000 - $215,000 The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role
