Job Description:
AI Solutions is looking to hire an experienced Sr UX Researcher to be our first dedicated researcher and establish our user research practice. As the first UX Researcher, you will be responsible for establishing the research processes and best practices for our state-of-the-art machine learning (ML) platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams of product managers, product designers, and others to recommend and prioritize qualitative and quantitate user and market research efforts that uncover user needs and product opportunities.
Our users are machine learning engineers, data scientists, dev-ops, and other domain experts who are building cutting-edge AI-powered applications in fields such as life sciences, IoT, and financial services.
Your efforts will have the potential to uncover significant and new discoveries related to the nascent AI and machine learning development space and influence the way that the next generation of machine learning models get made.

Responsibilities
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify , prioritize, and evaluate research needs
- Plan and implement user research processes, methodologies, strategies
- Lead problem finding and problem-solving research initiatives
- Conduct primary and secondary user research
- Perform usability studies with customers and community users
- Conduct and evaluate quantitative and qualitative research
- Perform market and ethnographic research
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and developers, to translate research findings into actionable product and design recommendations
- Clearly and effectively advocate, communicate and document research findings and insights for stakeholders at all levels
Requirements:
- Five or more years of UX research experience
- Portfolio of work samples
- Practical experience conducting end to end UX Research for digital products or services
- Ability to quickly and effectively share research findings
- Ability to lead and perform all research-related tasks including research, planning, recruiting, evaluating, and documentation
- Ability to formulate specific, answerable, and practical questions
- Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and act as a strategic partner in product and design decisions
- Creative problem-solving
- Collaborative and positive attitude
- Self-directed time-management skills
- Able to work asynchronous across distributed remote teams.
- Ability to work independently
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with machine learning, data-driven software, High Performance Computing and/or analytics
- Bachelor or Masters's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field
- Experience working on remote teams
- Experience working in enterprise software
- Experience working with technical users
- Experience in building developer tools
- Experience with remote testing and industry standard research tools and methodologies
- Able to work asynchronous across distributed remote teams.
- Ability to work independently
- Experience with Design Thinking and Agile Framework methodologies

Annual Salary: $111,000.00 - $255,500.00
