About the Job
We’re looking for an experienced A&P Mechanic to join our team at the academy. In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining the highest standards for our aircraft fleet, working closely with our flight operations team to ensure safety, performance, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Repair, modify, and make alterations to aircraft assemblies.
- Follow approved maintenance procedures and consult FAA-approved technical data.
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with standards.
- Perform serviceability tests on components using specialized equipment.
- Complete maintenance documentation and submit for inspection.
- Track time, materials, and tools used during maintenance.
Qualifications
- Current A&P license and high school diploma (or equivalent) with relevant aircraft maintenance courses.
- At least 2 years of experience maintaining general aviation aircraft.
- Own required tools for the role.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of FAA aircraft maintenance procedures.
- Experience with SLSA and Diamond aircraft is a plus.
- Additional pay for IA certification.
