DESCRIPTION:
TECHFORGE Solutions, a TECHFORGE company, is looking for an experienced and talented Intelligence Analyst to join our Intelligence Research Services team in the Dayton, OH office. This position will support the research, development, and sustainment of capabilities for intelligence production. We are looking for experienced analysts to work with a diverse team of engineers and analysts to explore and develop solutions in support of AFRL, NASIC, and DoD and Intelligence Communities. Successful candidates will provide analytic support in the form of information gathering & research, drafting reports, technical reviews, crafting publications, and providing additional written and verbal intelligence information, as needed, for DOD programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The All-Source Intelligence Engineer/Scientist will conduct in-depth scientific and technical intelligence analysis supporting NASIC. The engineer will develop and maintain assessments of threat systems. Work performed shall include quantitative and qualitative analysis, modeling and simulation tasks, technical analysis of system capabilities to include review of intelligence documents, writing documents, and presentation of results. Candidates must be able to work independently and as part of a technical team and have effective oral and written communication skills. Successful candidates will have strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. Require an active (or recent) TS clearance. Desire an active TS/SCI clearance.
- Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis.

Successful candidates will provide expert analytic support in the form of information gathering & research, drafting reports, technical reviews, crafting publications, and providing additional written and verbal intelligence information, as needed, for DOD programs. Candidates should be specialists of high competence in DoD air, strategic, and computer programs & concepts; finished intelligence as it pertains to air, space, ground, naval, strategic systems, and cyber foreign threat; and the forecast of threat to DoD acquisition program/concepts. Familiarity with advanced search techniques based upon natural language processing techniques is also required. The candidate will plan, conduct, and accomplish broad intelligence exploitation assignments; applies exploitation skills to produce intelligence products; and may be called upon to deliver presentations and assist in task planning.
You must be able to manage your time effectively and interface with customers regularly. In addition, beyond simply meeting project milestones and deadlines, the ideal candidate provides data and tools to empower decision makers and provides capabilities at the speed of relevance.
TRAVEL: The role will be On-Site. The role is primarily on-site, as it will require regular (weekly) travel, 4-5 days per week, to the client facility for primary work related activities and our offices in Beavercreek, OH; as necessary for team collaboration, client meetings, and/or presentations. Some roles may allow for work remotely, on a limited basis, with client approval. All roles will require the employee to physically work from the client site, during the work week.
REQUIREMENTS:
- All candidates must be U.S. Citizens.
- All candidates must pass a background check.
- At a minimum, bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Aerospace or Mechanical engineering or similar degree.
- 2 or more years of relevant, professional experience.
- Applicant must have an active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance, with SCI eligibility.
- Pursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Experience studying manned aircraft, missile, and/or unmanned aerial vehicle specifications and performance.
- 3+ years work experience in an Intelligence Analyst role
- Experience with supporting finished intelligence pertaining to air, space, ground, naval, strategic systems, and cyber foreign threat.
- Proven experience processing and exploiting scientific/technical intelligence data.
- Must have familiarity with collection management, analytical production management, and dissemination.
- Experience providing all-source analytic support in the form of information research, drafting, technical review, and publication of reports.
- Demonstrable experience in technical writing and briefing skills.
- Experience with DoD air, strategic, and computer programs / concepts.
- Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience working with classification handling and marking protocols.
- Demonstrated experience with intelligence production at one or more US Intelligence Agencies or DoD Intelligence groups.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Effective team player with highly proficient customer service skills.
- Flexible and able to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to assess the accuracy and effectiveness of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
- Conduct data analysis and orchestration of a large volume of data sources, threat indicators, and inputs.
- Must possess and exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills.
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
- At a minimum, bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Aerospace or Mechanical engineering or similar degree.
- 2 or more years of relevant, professional experience.
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Familiarity with NASIC all-source production processes.
- Working experience at the National Air & Space Intelligence Center (NASIC).
- Experience with one or more of the following: All-Source Analysis/Fusion Analysis, OSINT, DCGS, Acquisition Intelligence, Targeting.
- Specific experience creating / publishing / reviewing (PIA) DoD Intelligence reports.
- Experience with Specialized Intelligence Production.
- Experience with the agile software lifecycle.
- Willing and able to learn new things and stay on top of the latest and greatest technologies.
- Familiarity with DoD security practices.
