Allergy Medical Assistant - solvENT

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Allergy Medical Assistant to join our team at ExcelENT of Alabama As a leading medical practice specializing in allergy and immunology, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients. Responsibilities:

- Assist our allergists and immunologists in providing top-quality patient care

- Perform skin tests and other diagnostic procedures under the supervision of a physician

- Educate patients on treatment plans, procedures, and medications

- Administer allergy shots and other immunotherapy treatments

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

- Coordinate appointments, referrals, and patient follow-up

- Handle incoming phone calls and inquiries in a professional and efficient manner

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

- Collaborate with our medical team to improve patient care and processes

- Stay current on latest advances and developments in the field of allergy and immunology

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent, medical assistant certification preferred

- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a medical office or clinic setting

- Knowledge of allergy and immunology preferred, but willing to train the right candidate

- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide compassionate care to patients

- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to work well within a medical team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals

- Familiarity with electronic medical records and basic computer skills

- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed
