Major Functions:• In coordination with the MDI Commercial Account Sales is responsible and accountable for the profitable salesgrowth of all Alternative Channel accounts.• Has total responsibility for Account Management including existing and potential customers.• Responsible for Growth and Maintenance of dept. EDLC program including Vendor Agreements and Customer
Responsibilities
Accountabilities:• Manages in conjunction with the Director of Commercial Accounts, Commercial Account Sales to meet allcriteria related to customer contracts and agreements.• In coordination with the Director of Commercial Accounts, is responsible for Commercial Accounts AccountSales strategy by identifying target accounts and working with appropriate parties to prepare all necessarycomponents to make proposals to new customers including:o Profitability modelso Customized presentationso Contracts and agreements• In coordination with the Director of Commercial Accounts, creates and manages relationships with existing andpotential accounts to promote Commercial Accounts and its capabilities.• Manages all timelines and coordinates roll out of all new Commercial Accounts and changes within existingaccount base.• In conjunction with the Director of Commercial Accounts, identifies and directs across all departments theimplementation and execution of customer specific requirements for Commercial Accounts regarding:o Product specificationso Technology interfaces with customer softwareo Reportingo Service and delivery requirementso Business reviews with customerso Contract compliance• Under the direction of the Director of Commercial Accounts, has responsibility and accountability forCommercial Accounts P&L.• Represents and promotes Commercial Accounts at industry shows/conferences to secure and retain profitablerelationships with all existing and potential customer accounts.• Under the direction of the Director of Commercial Accounts, is totally accountable to manage a virtual teamacross all departments to maximize Commercial Accounts revenue and net income while ensuring a very highlevel of customer satisfaction.• Increases sales penetration on wholesale sales• Affiliate new customers• Provides sales support: inform buyers of new programs and items, industry changes while assisting with theexecution.• Responsible for weekly Accounts Receivable• Provide communications and support to non-profit customers that are involved with disaster recovery, fooddistribution and food relief within the communities we serve
Qualifications
Desirable Qualifications:• The incumbent should possess the business sophistication and technical knowledge generally associated with aBachelor’s in Business Mgt., plus 5 to 7 years progressive 3rd party/logistics sales experience, including salesaccount management and 3rd party logistics experience.• Should possess a thorough knowledge of major account and program sales in the 3rd party/logistics industry.
