Position Summary: We are hiring experienced phlebotomists who enjoy interacting with the public and leading a team that helps save lives through community blood drives. Ensures the collection event is in full compliance with all regulatory standards; ensures the donors receive outstanding customer service, supervises the staff; and ensures efficiency. Review of QC, Incidents Reports, 16-year-old consents and any other required paperwork is completed accurately before sending back to the Blood Center. Communicates with MUA, DR staff, and Coordinator and takes direction from the Manger at the Fixed Site.
HOURS: - Full Time - AM (7am to 3pm) and PM (12pm to 8pm) are the scheduled shifts, every other weekend, and rotating holidays are required.
Qualifications:
· Excellent Phlebotomy technique.
· Ability to problem solve.
· 2 years of supervisory experience required.
· Ability to work with computers and tablets, a plus.
· Excellent customer service skills.
· Ability to follow all MKBC SOP's.
· Automated collections experience preferred, willingness to learn and pass competency.
· Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
· A valid driver's license and personal transportation is required.
Pay and Bonuses:
· Starting Rate is $21.28
· 6-month performance review
· New Hire Bonuses: You will be eligible to receive, upon completion of 180 days of service, and successfully passing probation, a $500 retention bonus. Upon completion of 365 days of service, you will receive an additional $500. Total of $1,000 over one year of employment service.
