What You’ll Be Doing:
- Operate and Monitor: Set up and run the Amada laser cutting machine to produce high-quality parts. Keep an eye on machine performance and adjust settings to maintain optimal production.
- Quality Control: Inspect produced parts to ensure they meet precise specifications. Perform routine cleaning and maintenance on the laser machine.
- Troubleshoot and Resolve: Identify and fix any machine errors or issues quickly to minimize downtime.
- Safety First: Maintain a safe and organized work environment by following safety protocols and adhering to OSHA regulations.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of production data and machine settings. Report any issues to the supervisor promptly.
- Collaborate: Work closely with your team to ensure efficient workflows and timely order completion. Maintain clear communication with supervisors and management.
- Continuous Improvement: Help drive productivity and quality by suggesting and implementing process improvements.
Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts on Monday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience operating Amada laser cutting machines or similar CNC laser cutting equipment.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of machine setup, laser cutting technology, and routine maintenance procedures.
- Problem-Solver: You’re quick to troubleshoot and resolve machine issues to keep production running smoothly.
- Attention to Detail: High precision is essential to ensure quality in every part produced.
- Great Communicator: Clear, concise communication is key when working with team members and reporting issues.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to handle the physical demands of machine operation, including standing for long periods.
- Forklift Experience: Must be able to operate a forklift.
