Overview:The primary role of the Analyst, Accounts Payable is to process a variety of invoices to ensure accurate monthly financials for all PDS offices. The Analyst, Accounts Payable should have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills, and be committed to achieving predetermined goals and deadlines while working within the policies of the Accounting Dept.
Responsibilities
Analyzes vendor statements on a monthly basis and works with vendors to maintain account current
Prepares to upload templates for invoice creation into ERP system
Analyzes and corrects exceptions from automation tools
Analyzes vendor invoicing processes to determine automation opportunities
Performs data entry functions for invoices and check requests in a timely manner
Possesses knowledge of chart of accounts to determine proper allocation of expenses
Works closely with accounting team to ensure proper coding
Assists in providing month end accrual information
Maintains current vendor information
Participates in meetings as required
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Equivalent to high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Strong computer and data entry skills with competent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, V-Lookups and Pivot Tables
3-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable
Preferred
Experience in a multi-regional healthcare, retail, or dental company
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in related field

Ability to multi-task effectively without compromising the quality of the work
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Detail oriented, organized, process focused, problem solver, proactive, ambitious, customer service focused
Ability to draw conclusions and make independent decisions with limitedinformation
Ability to respond to common inquiries from customers, staff, regulatory agencies, vendors, and other members of the business community

Problem solving skills to gather & analyze information in order to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner to arrive at valid conclusions, recommendations, and plans of action
Analytical skills to synthesize complex or diverse information. Ability to research information and analyze data to arrive at valid conclusions, recommendations, and plans of action
Actively share ideas in a constructive and positive manner by listening to and objectively considering ideas and suggestions from others
