Job Purpose
The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), a subsidiary of Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), is seeking an energetic, highly organized hire for our corporate affairs team. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Affairs, the Analyst, Corporate Affairs, will execute high-level strategic projects for the NYSE, including on-site visits of dignitaries, government officials, and high-profile executives. The Analyst, Corporate Affairs, will also assist in organization-wide projects, including the compilation and distribution of briefing materials for NYSE executives. The successful candidate will have a track record of liaising with internal and external constituents at all levels (including C-level executives and senior government officials), strong attention to detail, the ability to manage within a fast-paced, high demand environment, and a relentless focus on execution and results.
Responsibilities
- Manage and execute logistical and operational tasks for corporate affairs engagements and events at the NYSE.
- Serve as a key liaison across the NYSE, partnering with key internal departments on catering, a/v and broadcast, technology, facilities and security requirements.
- Negotiate and facilitate contracts with event venues, hotels, caterers/restaurants, audio visual vendors, etc. in conjunction with procurement and the NYSE events team.
- Represent the NYSE in high-level negotiations with key external stakeholders.
- Understand cross-company business objectives to help establish and maintain strong protocol and procedures. Continuously learn about NYSE and ICE businesses.
- Gain high level understanding of issues impacting financial markets, geopolitical developments, and other topics relevant to corporate affairs engagements.
- Curate invitation lists for corporate affairs events, track responses, and answer inquiries from attendees.
- Manage and execute processes for organization-wide information sharing, including daily briefing materials. Work with business units to optimize and improve these processes.
- Provide excellent customer service to all business units and external parties through transparency and constant communication, as well as timely responses to all inquiries and requests.
Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of experience in corporate event planning and logistics, executive office support, or government protocol and advance
- Exceptional analytic, project management and organizational skills; the ability to juggle multiple demands, manage shifting priorities, and meet deadlines
- Experience in protocol and etiquette for dignitaries and senior executives preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone and approach based on audience
- Demonstrated success with developing positive relationships with clients, other third parties and internal partners
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and as part of a cross-disciplinary team
- Demonstrated problem solving ability and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in MS Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Salesforce
Schedule
This role is on-site in our Wall Street New York Office.

New York Base Salary Range
The expected base salary for this role if located in New York City is between 77,300 - 103,000 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange’s incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual.
