Shure has embarked on a multi-year, multi phased S4 journey. A green field approach is being taken to this transformational journey. The first two releases of S4 have been successfully implemented – Finance and Procure to Pay (Ariba). The goal is to complete the S4 journey and retire ECC over the next 2 years.
The application eco system leveraged to enable key business processes globally at Shure spans across different technologies including SAP (S4, ECC, Ariba, IBP, Hybris), Salesforce, Boomi, ShipERP, Amber Road Customs, Integration Point Customs, Loftware, Data Platform (Informatica, AWS/Red Shift), Tableau, Sharepoint, Service Now, etc.
We are looking for a passionate, motivated, high-performing hands-on SAP IT Analyst II to enable and nurture IT capabilities in purchasing, Materials Management, Logistics Execution and Warehousing function. The SAP Analyst II is an individual contributor role. This role is responsible for working independently and collaborating, as required, with hands on expertise in design, configuration, and implementation of SAP S4 HANA capabilities. This role in the Global IT SAP Team will report to Associate Director, SAP Business applications and requires exposure to industry best practices, technology trends, the willingness to learn new technologies, collaborate with the global team, wear multiple hats, and balance priorities to continuously drive business value. The SAP IT Analyst II S4 HANA MM/EWM position will collaborate closely with the internal IT associates located in US, Europe and Asia to successfully build, enhance and support solutions that maximize business value.
This role will be hyrbrid, and based in our Niles, IL and Wheeling, IL locations.
Responsibilities:- Provide Level 1 and 2 SAP support application support relating to S4 HANA MM/ EWM function.
- Participate in S4 HANA project to support configuration, testing and hyper care support
- Participate in Agile ceremonies as part of Procure-to-pay and Demand-to-Supply value stream
- Manage the life cycle of SAP S4 HANA enhancements and break-fix tickets to include gathering requirements, creating, and updating functional specs, conducting Unit, integration and UAT testing, supporting documentation and migration to production.
- Complete maintenance of business requests; Identify and make recommendations for implementation of process improvements for system stability.
- Test Scripts: Provide ongoing support for manual and automated updates to the regression test script library, including troubleshooting automated test script failures.
- Meet with Business Process Owners to clarify on open requests and updates; provide support and guidance to business areas for SAP software instruction and support business areas on new functionality for small enhancements.
- Be part of Agile team to deploy new functionality and/or enhance existing functionality
- Understand business processes and how underlying configuration and data supports or enables related processes
- Gather, analyze, refine and document business requirements

- Maintain a current awareness of SAP product developments and trends and determine how they can be used to enhance productivity within Shure
- Ability to travel to Wheeling distribution facility to support users on weekly basis (1-2 days per week)
- Resolve Service Request tickets in accordance with agreed upon SLAs
- Respond to inquiries and/or issues
- Bachelor degree or equivalent, MBA a plus
- Formal SAP training in S4 HANA MM and or EWM; SAP S4 HANA certification is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience using skills as a seasoned, experienced professional in enterprise systems (S4 HANA) implementation
- At least 2 years S4 HANA MM /EWM hands-on configuration experience and support of a live SAP S4 HANA production client
- At least 1 full cycle SAP implementation project with hands-on project experience designing, testing and implementing S4 HANA MM or S4 HANA EWM solutions
- Working knowledge of procure-to-pay and Logistics business processes is a plus
- Ability and willingness to learn new applications and data tools (Informatica, Snowflake etc..) a plus
- Understanding of integration points of S4 HANA MM/EWM with S4 HANA SD/FI and other modules
- Able to work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data or situations requires evaluation of identifiable factors including process decomposition, root cause analysis, gap analysis, and blueprint definition.
- Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions for difficult assignments and of diverse scope
- Demonstrates passion for improving business process in one area of expertise.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong project management skills
