Merchandising Strategy Analyst Overview:
We are seeking a creative and analytical Analyst III Merchandising Strategy Analyst to join our team. This hybrid role will play a critical part in supporting day-to-day operational activities and longer-term strategic initiatives within the Category Management team. The ideal candidate will bring fresh ideas and a passion for the retail/consumer industry.
Merchandising Strategy Analyst Key Responsibilities:

1. Quantitative Analysis:
   • Collaborate with the Category Management Team to scope and plan financial and quantitative analyses.
   • Manage the delivery of timely, defect-free analyses to support insight development.
   • Run ad hoc analysis and provide actionable insights with recommendations.
2. Product Management:
   • Analyze daily sales, seasonal reporting, and market data to assist in decision-making.
   • Partner with Category Management teams to build promotional plans and attend proofing meetings.
   • Oversee new item setup and maintenance, off-shelf program coordination, and price change activities.
3. Communication Development & Project Management:
   • Communicate effectively with Merchandising and Cross-Functional teams.
   • Craft business cases that effectively communicate actionable recommendations.
   • Support the development of presentations for mid-level and senior executives.

Merchandising Strategy Analyst Qualifications:

• Experience: 3 to 5 years of analytical experience in a business environment; experience in supplier or retail background is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Mastery of Microsoft Excel; familiarity with MicroStrategy or Tableau.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills; experience with Microsoft PowerPoint is a plus.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
