Analyst Revenue Cycle - Norman Regional Health System

Patient Financial Services department plays a crucial role in the financial health of the Norman Regional Health System. We are responsible for the proper processing of all billable services to insurance companies on a daily basis. Accurate billing and collections is also a vital key to our success for our patient's satisfaction. 

Healer will be responsible for analyzing collections throughout the Revenue Cycle. Will aide in report building and other tasks to help improve A/R. 

Education

• Associates degree or equivalent required.
• Prefer some formal education in Accounting, Business Communications and/or Computer Technology.
• Must type at least 45 wpm.
• Must have excellent knowledge and understanding of Microsoft office programs.
• Must have excellent knowledge and understanding of the rules and regulations of third party payers such as Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial Managed Care payers to accurately program systems.

Experience:

• Prior computerized medical billing experience working with accounts receivables within a hospital, clinic or physician office setting is required.
• One year of experience if in a hospital setting; two years of experience in an outpatient setting.
• Experience working with Microsoft office programs required.
• Previous experience working with Meditech is preferred.

Compensation/ Benefits

• $ 19.56 - $ 31.94/hr depending on pervious work experience.
