TRG is seeking a dynamic Analyst V to provide the Defense Logistics Agency Energy Inventory Accountability Division (DLA Energy-FENA) with consulting and technical support services.
DLA Energy serves within the Defense Logistics Agency as a distributor of energy generating products to stakeholders throughout the world. DLA Energy's mission is to satisfy requirements for refined petroleum products, natural gas, electricity, coal, and missile fuels. DLA Energy-FENA is responsible for accountability and oversight of petroleum products.
DLA Energy-FENA has a need for consulting and technical support to provide timely and accurate review and analysis of petroleum inventory accounts and transaction data details (e.g., sales, credits, shipments, receipts). Support will include working with and developing relationships throughout DLA Energy to resolve discrepancies.
This position is currently hybrid, with work being mostly performed at the TRG Headquarters in McLean, VA, or place of residence. However, candidate must be able to support the customer on a weekly basis at the DLA Headquarters in Ft. Belvoir, VA.
Core hours are between 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide consulting support related to the DoD Petroleum Industry to include shipments, receipts, sales, credits, and physical inventory.
- Compile reports and support traditional administrative functions.
- Provide data analytics and data visualization support.
- Develop statistical and quantitative analysis.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with a wide array of Government personnel and organizations.
- Provide experience and knowledge of Microsoft SQL, Data Warehouse, Analysis Services, and Reporting Services.
- Support tasks requiring expertise in Systems Applications and Products (SAP), Enterprise Business System (EBS), Industry Standard Oil (IS-OIL0, and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).
- Speak, read, and write the English language fluently.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree is required
- 5 years of relevant experience is required
- Active SECRET clearance at the time of hire, or ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Preferred skill/experience:
FUELS accounting certification, Joint Responsible Officer and Terminal Manager Certification, and/or Financial Improvement
