JOB SUMMARY
Under general direction, manage the Workload Automation system and support production batch process automation.
SCHEDULE.
Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Remote with one on site day per month (Libertyville, IL).
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor and troubleshoot multiple applications for production and test processes.
Assess and resolve job failures.
Implement job streams with complex dependencies and managing calendar schedules using Workload Automation AE(Autosys).
Analyze, design, and implement batch processing workflows using Workload Automation AE (Autosys). Resolve errors in job definitions.
Responsible for changes to IT production environments, managing change control documentation as changes are made and communicate changes to IT services and business users who are impacted.
Ensure adherence to architecture standards, job naming standards, and practice to ensure repeatable processes.
Assist other application teams in job flow conceptualization, design, job set-up, and training.
Support the job scheduling migration process in test and production environments. Maintain migration process documentation.
Keep management, other team members, and customers aware of business-critical problems and use proper judgment to determine when such communication is necessary.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Work Experience
At least 2 years of experience with administration, creation and maintenance of calendars, review and implementation of all IT job processing, optimization of job schedules, monitoring and reporting, as well as analysis of job failures.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Understanding of theoretical and practical aspects of job scheduling software.
Basic understanding of Unix, Linux and Windows commands.
Understanding of business-critical processes, and how they are interrelated to other systems and the prioritization of issues based on impact to the business and department.
Ability to troubleshoot problems, determine causes of operating errors and decide on appropriate solution.
Demonstrated interpersonal, presentation and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical issues to a non-technical audience.
Attention to detail with the ability to concentrate on a task over a period without being distracted
Ability to provide service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluating customer satisfaction.
Time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
Requires a sense of urgency to ensure the assignment/project is accomplished within tight timeframes.
Position may require work on weekends or extended and "on call" hours as business needs dictate.

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$79,560.00 - $115,440.00 AnnualThis salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
