Anesthesia Tech - Northwest Tucson Surgery Center - 5 OR suite ambulatory surgery facility
Full Time – Monday through Friday
$10,000 for Student Loan Repayments
As an Anesthesia Tech, at Northwest Tucson Surgery Center, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best- providing quality care to our patients. Requirements:
+ Completion of Anesthesia Tech, EMT, Surgical Tech or similar course -OR- 1 year experience as an Anesthesia Tech can substitute for education requirement.
+ Preferred: Two (2) years anesthesia technician experience.
+ Required: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) - Due by close on the last day of the month after one full month of work.
About the Job:
+ Responsible for assisting anesthesia providers as directed including but not limited to assistance during patient inductions.
+ Responsible for the care and maintenance of the anesthesia machines.
+ Assists Anesthesiologist by setting-up equipment and preparing medications. Orders, stocks, tests, and maintains anesthesia supplies, medications, and equipment. Washes and sterilizes re-usable equipment and reports malfunctioning equipment to appropriate personnel.

Licenses/Certifications:
Required: American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS.
