Responsibilities
The Center for Cardiovascular Health (CCH) at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH), in Seattle, is seeking a talented board-certified Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join our cardiovascular service line comprising over 190 providers. The job will be based in Seattle at the Virginia Mason Medical Center (VMMC).
The cardiologist will perform the full range of electrophysiology procedures, including ablation of atrial and ventricular arrhythmias, and implantation of cardiac devices (pacemakers, ICDs and CRT devices). Ability to do epicardial VT ablations and lead extractions is highly desirable.
As a member of the Virginia Mason Franciscan Health's CCH, the EP cardiologist will be working collaboratively with all cardiology specialties in an atmosphere of ?Team Medicine? at the Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle. There will be opportunities to participate in research and clinical trials through support from The Benaroya Research Institute.
The Electrophysiology program at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health has a long history of excellence in quality and patient experience. The program is a high volume service on the leading edge of technology and recognized regionally and nationally for exceptional outcomes. You will be joining a team of 6 other cardiac electrophysiologists with one of the largest clinical/procedural volumes in the Pacific Northwest. The electrophysiology program is also supported by Advanced Practitioners and dedicated EP clinic staff specialized in the care and management of arrhythmias and devices.
Qualifications:
+ Board Certified by American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiology and Electrophysiology
+ 5+ years' experience preferred
+ Fellowship or advanced training in cardiac electrophysiology preferred
+ Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the state of WA
+ Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practice.
