Our client is in search of a high performing Accounts Payable Clerk for their HR Department.
This is NOT an entry level position. You need to have at strong foundation of general clerical or general accounting skills .
DUTIES:
+ You will be working in the accounting department, specifically in accounts payable.
+ Accurately and timely process all accounts payable invoices.
+ Weekly accounts payable payment processing and monitoring of payment terms to ensure vendors are paid on time.
+ Filing and maintaining 1099 records,
+ Efficiently and timely positing of expenditures into accounting system.
+ Reconciling account payable related accounts.
+ Scan and upload all accounts payable invoices.
+ Contact and provide great customer service to vendors as needed.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
+ Proficient working with 10 key
+ Familiarity with accounting methods, practices and terminology
+ Proficient with computers in
+ Excellent organizational and time management
+ Computer systems, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook and computerized accounting software.
+ Detail oriented
REQUIREMENTS:
+ High School diploma or equivalent. AA in accounting preferred.
+ 1+ years of high level accounts payable experience
+ Professional and positive attitude
+ Dependability and reliability
+ Ability to work independently
+ Ability to take initiative and be proactive
POSITION DETAILS:
+ Location - Atwater, CA
+ Length - ASAP - March 2025
+ Schedule - Mon-Fri, 8a-5p
+ Pay - $24 per hour
