AP CLERK/ RECEPTIONIST - Spherion

Now hiring for AP Clerk/ Receptionist. Spherion of Connecticut currently has AP Clerk/ Receptionist opportunities available to support our local, industry leading customer. Our AP Clerk/ Receptionist will be working a first shift with limited required OT. The AP Clerk/ Receptionist will support our customers for accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions, with additional duties including cost accounting. Mon thru Fri. Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage and process AP/AR transactions, including data entry and reconciliation.
Cost Accounting: Assist with cost accounting tasks as needed, ensuring accurate financial records.
Phone Operation: Answer and route incoming phone calls efficiently, providing exceptional customer service.
Data Entry: Perform high-volume data entry tasks with precision and attention to detail.

Working hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Skills:
Ability to handle light to moderate call volume.
Fast learner with strong organizational skills.
Proficiency in relevant software and data entry tools.

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Proven experience in AP/AR and cost accounting.
Excellent problem-identifying and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
