The Accounts Payable Manager is a senior-level role reporting to the VP of Finance, responsible for leading the Accounts Payable (AP) department. This role oversees AP processes, collaborates with vendors and departments, and manages a team to ensure efficient service for US and Canadian operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee AP functions: supplier onboarding, invoice processing, disbursements, and compliance with SOX.
- Ensure accurate, timely processing of invoices, review payment runs, and approve vendor changes.
- Manage monthly reporting on DPO and AP balance, and ensure compliance with policies and financial regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, handle escalations, and review aged POs and vendor accounts.
- Conduct quarterly best practices meetings and support AP training and onboarding.
- Lead spend management reporting and support diverse vendor utilization for US and Canada.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills with a focus on customer service.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel (advanced skills required).
- BA in Accounting or Business; 7+ years in AP/Accounting roles.
