CMC is currently seeking a professional Procure to Pay Manager to join our Accounts Payable team to assist with and oversee processing, tracking, and analyzing full-cycle AP processing in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. The ideal candidate will use excellent communication skills and high accuracy/attention to detail to successfully manage the processes of the AP department.
The candidate will be responsible for understanding and overseeing the entire breadth of AP procedures utilizing staff in the U.S. and Poland, as well as maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, procurement team members, operational management, IT support staff, and other stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required. This role will report to the Director of Procure to Pay and Master Data Management.

What You'll Do
- Develop the Procure-to-Pay strategy and take overall responsibility for delivery of core AP activities
- Oversee direct reports in performing assigned accounts payable activities including PO and Non-PO invoices, AP subledger close, AP aging, payment processing, purchasing cards, account reconciliation support and exceptions, and AP reporting and analysis
- Lead month-end close efforts for Procure-to-Pay processes including assisting with month-end closing and accruals, and AP account reconciliations
- Assist with quarterly and annual external audits related to accounts payable functions
- Evaluate the use of third party resources to optimize the cost, accuracy and timeliness of accounts payable activities
- Oversee development and maintenance of AP processes and procedures, ensuring proper internal controls and policies are in place and consistently monitored, and collaborating cross-functionally (IT, operations, procurement) as needed
- Train, motivate, and evaluate accounts payable staff in a collaborative and supportive environment, including setting high standards for quality of work, defining and tracking periodic KPIs, and formulating annual goals & objectives
- Work effectively with support teams in Poland
- Budget responsibility, in collaboration with the Director, Procure to Pay
- Provide ad hoc analysis and participate in cross-functional projects as needed
What You'll Need
- 7+ years of relevant Accounts Payable experience
- 3+ years of managerial experience
- Knowledge of end-to-end accounts payable processes and best practices
- Strong technical accounting and financial analytical skills
- Meticulous attention to detail, highly organized, and exercises strong self-review in work
- Highly self-motivated and an excellent team player
- Ability to manage a fast-paced, dynamic environment; strong sense of time management
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with different business stakeholders, clients, and teams
- Strong understanding of SAP and Coupa preferred, but not required
- Proficient in MS Office products
Your Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration/Management, or a related field preferred
