About the Job
Vaco is recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable (AP) Processor to join our client’s team in Costa Mesa, CA. This hybrid role involves processing high volumes of invoices and supporting general AP functions for a multi-unit restaurant operation. The ideal candidate will bring 1-3 years of accounting experience, ideally within the restaurant or hospitality industry. Experience with Corrigo (facilities software) and Yooz (invoicing software) is preferred, with a particular emphasis on Corrigo to streamline daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently using Yooz invoicing software.
- Use Corrigo facilities software for invoice management, ensuring alignment with operational needs.
- Verify, code, and enter invoices into the accounting system.
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies.
- Support month-end closing procedures, including AP accruals and reconciliations.
- Manage vendor relationships, addressing inquiries and resolving payment issues promptly.
- Maintain organized records of all AP documentation, ensuring compliance with internal controls.
- Assist with other accounting duties as needed, including but not limited to expense reporting and financial audits.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a high-volume, multi-unit restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Experience with Corrigo and/or Yooz systems is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of AP principles and high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
