Accounts Payable Specialist-Property Management/Real Estate -Start Immediately
This is a well-established, boutique property management and real estate firm specializing in commercial real estate/property management. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and maintaining high standards with our customers.
**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This role will involve managing our accounts payable processes and providing administrative support within our property management division. The ideal candidate will have experience with accounting software such as Sage 300, Yardi, or Timberline, along with a strong background in the real estate/property management and/or construction sectors.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Process invoices and payments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in month-end closing processes and financial reporting.
- Provide administrative support to property management and construction teams as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Manage and maintain files, documents, and databases related to accounts payable.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts related to property management.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in accounts payable, preferably in property management or real estate.
- Proficient in accounting software (Yardi, Sage 300/Timberline) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of construction accounting practices is a plus.

Salary: $70-$80k annually
