About the Company:
We are partnering with a well-established company in the retail industry, located in the Kearny Mesa area, seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist. This dynamic and growing team needs someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is adept at handling high-volume, complex invoice processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process a high volume of invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Perform three-way match of purchase orders, receiving documents, and invoices.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with internal departments and vendors to resolve invoice-related issues.
- Assist with month-end close activities and provide supporting documentation as needed.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of transactions.
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
- Support the Accounts Payable Manager in identifying process improvement opportunities.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in a high-volume environment.
- Strong knowledge of invoice matching, coding, and payment processes.
- Experience with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams.
- Flexibility and a team-oriented mindset, with a desire to learn and grow.
