Job: Accounts Payable Specialist 

Pay: $24-$27/hr D.O.E. 

Location: Woodland, CA 

Schedule: M-F 8a - 5p  (flexible)

Full-Time, Temp to Hire

Accounts Payable Specialist Job Description:

PrideStaff Financial is working with a local agriculture company that has been experiencing steady growth and expansion in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist.  The Accounts Payable Specialist will process and review all accounts payable vendor invoices and expense reports.   The ideal Accounts Payable Specialist will be a subject matter expert in full cycle accounts payables with previous experience in an accounting team culture with multiple accounts payable staff members.

Accounts Payable Specialist Duties & Responsibilities:

• Process & Track All Accounts Payable Invoices
• Set up New Vendor Accounts For Processing 
• Review, Process, & Submit Accounts Payable Invoices in an Accurate & Timely Manner 
• Review Monthly AP Statements For Discrepancies & Work With Vendors to Resolve Issues 
• Review and process expense reports and supporting documentation
• Reconcile Month-End Accruals and Prepaids
• Organize Files & Maintain All Vendor Invoices in an Orderly System
• Follow Company & State Laws For Compliance Regarding Vendor Payments 
• Assist With Additional AP & Office Needs as Directed 

Accounts Payable Specialist Requirements & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

• BA/BS in Accounting or Related a Plus But Not Required

• 2-3 Years of Accounts Payable Experience Required 

• Proficient in Excel

• Solid Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

• Excellent Attention to Detail & Time Management Skills
