F-16 Depot Mechanic
Location: Greenville, SC
Hourly rate: $32.00 - $38.00
Contractor benefits: Medical, Vision, Dental, 401k
Mechanic will perform/assist with all launch, recovery, preflight/thru flight/Basic Post Flight inspections, ground handling, maintenance, engine runs, operational checkouts, and servicing. Perform routine troubleshooting, installation, repair and maintenance of all electro-mechanical and Pneudraulic systems and components on the aircraft. Responsible for the acceptableness of all electrical, hydraulic-pneumatic, propulsion, landing gear, flight control surfaces and periodic inspections, general airframe condition, aircraft furnishings and crew escape system of the aircraft. Will be required to remove panels and associated hardware to obtain access equipment requiring repair.
Required:
F-16: 4 - 6 Years
Fighter Experience (F16, F18, F22, F35): 4 - 6 Years
Must have minimum of 4 years F-16 or other legacy fighter heavy maintenance experience.
Must be able to work first or second shift.
Must be extremely versed in F-16, Fighter type mechanic experience Crew Chiefs or Plane Captains.
Mechanics that have done maintenance on fighters or other heavy related maintenance.
Military Fighter aircraft experience (F-16 a MUST).
Preferred:
Flight line Maintenance: 4 - 6 Years
Aircraft Launch and Recovery: 2 - 4 Years
Aircraft Towing: 2 - 4 Years
No tools Required.
Must be U.S. Person for purposes of Export Compliance.
